Santa Fe, New Mexico-based Goshen features guitarist and erstwhile painter Grant Hayunga. Hayunga leads the Americana/roots-rock group, whose sound draws upon rockabilly and Delta blues.
The British music magazine Q wrote: "Goshen is an American blues-rock act whose voluble frontman, Grant Hayunga, sings as if in search of Robert Johnson's missing soul." On drums and organ are, respectively, brothers Jim and Bill Palmer, who also make up half of the group Hundred Year Flood. Goshen recently released their 7th full-length album, "Lioness," on Santa Fe’s Frogville Records.
